Although unconfirmed as of yet, it's rumored that other top-shelf hip hop artists may be lending their talents to the soundtrack. 50 is said to be writing tunes specifically for this game, and many of the songs can only be heard in-game. Blood on the Sand is going to feature more new and exclusive music than Bulletproof. But there are going to be some great payoffs for 50 fanatics. The game is set to appeal to fans of gaming, and not just fans of the artist. It's an entirely new story with different gameplay elements than the original.
"We've emphasized the gameplay quality more than anything this time around." The follow up to 50 Cent: Bulletproof, Blood on the Sand is purported to take the fledgling series in a new direction. "Once we get the game out there, I think people will realize right away where our focus for the sequel," Vivendi Games producer Aaron Blean says. Even 50 himself is actively involved in the project. There is going to be plenty of shooting action, as well as vehicle missions that will include Hummers and choppers. In this game, 50 will be battling international gangsters in a variety of exotic locals. According to Vivendi, the gameplay is what matters most this time around. Built on the solid Unreal Engine 3, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is said to favor substance over style.
